Using normal maps to lighten sprites

Normal maps can be used to lighten sprites in the game. They have to be rendered or paint, but the effects worth it.

Controls:

  • Mouse move — move light source
  • Mouse wheel or up/down arrows — change specularity

    It will be open source or commerical engine?

    Dongwook, the plan is partly secret :) The other part can be seen here at dev blog.
    It will be availiable for usage, but the licence is not set yet… Give us some time to really polish it and keep visiting back.
