Normal maps can be used to lighten sprites in the game. They have to be rendered or paint, but the effects worth it.

Controls:
- Mouse move — move light source
- Mouse wheel or up/down arrows — change specularity

Wow awesome, actually that’s what I want to use.
I wonder what is the plan for this engine?
It will be open source or commerical engine?
When and how can I use this?
I’m looking forward to use.

Dongwook, the plan is partly secret :) The other part can be seen here at dev blog.
It will be availiable for usage, but the licence is not set yet… Give us some time to really polish it and keep visiting back.
