Hello!
How it will help us to make platform better - that is the question. Open source is good for some projects, there is no doubt. We’d like to implement our own vision on the way 3D meets Internet in your browser :) I can explain this point of view in details, if someone’s interested.

Hey Alexander, I want to hear it, maybe would you be available for a little interview for dreaming in flash.com since we’ve done interviews in the past with members of away3d and pv3d it would be nice to hear your vision as well.

I cannot install Alternativa 3D .. I have Flash CS4, CS3 and 8 and all say that Alternativa3d.swc is unexpected file format .. help

Radu, for CS3 follow this article http://docs.alternativaplatform.com/display/TDEN/Connecting+library. Flash 8 and (afaik) CS4 are not supported atm.
