ModelDebug utility helps to test and optimize importing models

For optimizing 3D scenes we use a special homemade utility. Many users requested this, so we put it here for everybody.

Utility helps to:

  • import your 3DS or OBJ file into the engine;
  • test model for singular and a little-bit-non-coplanar faces;
  • find our “slow places” in geometry;
  • reduce polygons that are overlapping;
  • load and test sprites;
  • define and set objects’ mobility.

    1. Pretty cool! Makes debugging much easier. But are there any planes to release the classes for these debug materials? So debugging a application would be much easier, too. Specially to locate mobility problems.
