Buzzluck.com — Virtual lobby for one of the best Flash-casinos online with Alternativa3D

Joel Caballero from Zther Interactive agreed to give us a short interview on Alternativa3D usage for the project:
“We experimented with just about every 3D open source flash engine we could find, but just couldn’t achieve the results we were looking for. Finally, we tried Alternativa3D and quickly found that things just worked way they’re supposed to. There was no comparison everyone at Zther Interactive was amazed with the results.

The entire process was very easy. Since we weren’t very familiar with the inner workings of an engine like this, it was critical for us to get proper support from the authors. The bunker demo was extremely helpful, and when we ran into some fps issues, Alternativa3D was available to give us some personal guidance. This ultimately helped us go from 5 fps to 12 fps. The purchasing and licensing process was straight forward and the price was very fair.

This project was for one of Zther Interactive’s most demanding clients. They wanted an immersive 3D hotel lobby experience and needed it to perform flawlessly. We were able to leverage the Alternativa3D engine which takes care of about 95% of the work in the 3D environment, and does it in a fast and efficient way. In a business where time is money, we found that we were able to implement the solution quickly, meaning we certainly saved a lot of money.

The API and support have been great, and the documentation is up-to-date. We also appreciate how willing the staff at Alternativa3D was in going above and beyond normal support, helping us to launch our product on time and under budget.”
