04.06.2009 Anton VolkovAlmost a month has passed from the closed beta launch. There was about 600 testers who have discovered more than 200 bugs and helped us a lot by making notes and suggestions. Nevertheless, there’s still much work to do. We have plenty of ideas and of course there are bugs to fix. We’ll work hard on all this stuff during next months.

While your 3d engine is impressive, your ideas for games are somewhat banal e.g.: choose one of three races and join endless war between fractions. Hasn’t this concept been overused? It sounds like the template for violent primitivism… if playing games is in any way educational. Couldn’t you manage to be a bit more conceptually inspirational, as well as technically? That would be really worthwhile.

sinecure, It’s question of russian mindset, here still popular “epic theme”, it’s hard to our people to identify yourself with funny or poorly serious character. I hope the situation is changing.

Thanks so much for sharing you bright idea with us. But could you please name at least one popular educational mmorpg game and tell us about it is revenues? As I know all of them were closed on beta stage. Don’t you think that mmo is all about challenging and overwhelming other ppl? If you need education please go to university.

Excelent work, very smooth and great real time communication!!
It’s amazing to see how well A3d is growing and evolving.
It would be, very.. but veeeeeerrry amazing to see this gaming quality put into a car (or whatever) racing game. I think that would be more attractive for masses and perhaps (excepting for phisycs) it might be easier to create.
